Sales Engineer Solar B2B Australia NZ

We are currently recruiting an experienced Sales Engineer to be based in Sydney headquarters. The position will assist in sourcing new business opportunities in Australia and New Zealand within the solar market and sustain solid business relationships with key existing clients to achieve sale targets set for the division. Key responsibilities will include:
 
 Business development
 Client management
 Technical consultancy, design and specifications
 Design work on commercial roof mounted and utility ground mounted solar panels
 Attendance of off-site customer meetings
 Site assessments of potential projects
 Support for trade exhibitions and conferences
 Liaison and communication with key government departments
 Stock and forecast management
 Liaison with internal stakeholders, product managers, factory and head office
 Research on product competitive information, market trends, price movement and competitor’s strategy
 
You are technically proficient with solar modules, system designs and technical performance. You remain current on all customer and industry related news and events. You also have excellent sales skills supported by excellent product knowledge of solar related products. You have the ability to provide high-level design and performance analysis of PV solar module systems and you have a strong industry knowledge and understanding of key players, industry associations and contacts. BCSE accreditation is preferable.
 
Annual Salary Package will be commensurate to profile and experience around the $120K + super + sales commissions.
